My story- horror.
My heart is beating at a hundred miles per hour and my mouth is as dry as the Sahara desert. I look back into the darkness expecting him to be there, right behind me, footsteps thumping. But he isn't, I have outrun him, for now. It started when I was home alone, listening to my music on full blast and dancing. I heard loud noises so I turned my music down, then nothing. It was fine and I didn't think anything of it until I see a black figure run past my door. I freak out only thinking the worst. For an hour or so I crouch under my desk, almost knowing I was going to die. I was too scared to get to the phone so instead I just waited, waited for him to find me.
I was starting to panic and my breaths were getting heavier. I was trying to breathe as quietly as possible so he wouldn't hear me. I closed my eyes and tried to pretend this wasn't happening. That I wasn't waiting for someone to come and take my life. I prayed, over and over, that he would assume no-one was home and go find someone else. I prayed for him just to leave.
I heard his footsteps walk up the stairs and my heart began to race. My prayers had not been answered, I realised, as I heard the door handle twist and he opened the door. I squeezed my eyes shut as tight as I could, as I didn't want to see or face reality. His steps became louder and louder as he walked in to the room. He then stopped, and I knew he'd found me.
He reached under the desk, grabbed my arm and pulled me out. My head hit the desk on the way out because he yanked me with such force. I tried to stand up but he slapped across my face, knocking me to the ground. On the way down, I hit my head on the corner of the desk. I saw blood drip to the floor from my head and I felt myself fall unconscious.
I woke up but I didn't know how much later it was. I slowly lifted my eyelids and the room was blurry at first but then it cleared up. There was hay beneath me and it was making my legs itchy. The walls were wooden and there was an old tree stump around 2 metres to my right.
I was taking in my surroundings and I thought that it was an old barn.
My first instinct was to get up but as I tried, I just flung back and my back hit the pole behind me. I just realised that my arms were chained to that pole. I slid my back up the pole and stood up, but obviously I couldn't move.
"help! Help!" I screeched.
My voice was coarse and I had no idea if anyone would hear me. I screamed again and the massive door of the barn began to creek open. I quickly turned my neck when I heard the door open and I saw a foot at the bottom of the door. A man walked through the door and my heart dropped. It was him, the man who had taken me and probably tied me up. He yelled something out, but I couldn't quite make out what it was. As he came closer he yelled again,
"Shut up. No-one will hear you, you can't do anything."
He smiled at me and stroked my face. I shook my head to get his hand off but that just made him angry.
"You don't decide what happens, I do, okay? You try to run, I'll find you, and you'll pay."
He smiled again, then laughed and then hit me again and again. He seemed to be getting joy out of my pain and my tears only made him enjoy it more. He kicked me once and then left.
Hours passed and I thought that they were the precious hours of my life left. I was scanning the barn, every inch of it, to see if I had any chance of escape. I looked at the tree stump and I realised there was blood on it, dripping down the sides. I kept asking why he chose me. What did I ever do? I cried even though I knew that wouldn't help. I rubbed the chains that were tying my hands to the pole up and down the pole, hoping that it would break down the metal and maybe make it weak enough to break and set me free. In the end, I was so tired I just fell off to sleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night to find that I the chains were gone. I wasn't sure whether I was dreaming or not, or whether he was just playing games with my head. I walked over to the barn door and opened it just so I could see out of it. It was just dust outside, no road, no houses, no car, nothing. I stepped outside, trying no to make a sound. The thought was still in my head that I was just "magically" untied when I woke up, and I still didn't know how that happened.
I walked straight for around a kilometre and then came across a fence; I knew it was too good to be true. I collapsed to the ground in pure desperation and started to weep. I knew it wasn't long before he came and found me and began to punish me for trying to get away. This is what he meant when he said I'd pay if I tried to run.
I saw a shadow in the distance and I knew it was him. I didn't care anymore, I'd given up.
He laughed as he came closer, as if I was his little puppet that he could just play games with.
"I told you not to run, but then again I knew you wouldn't listen to me. You know what else I told you?"
He smiled at me and kicked my head in to the ground.
"That'd you pay! And now, you will," he yelled.
He grabbed my wrists and pulled me back to barn. The rocks on the ground cut my body and my face was already destroyed from being kicked in to the ground.
As we got back to the barn he didn't pull me inside, he just dropped me on the ground and then he went inside, knowing I didn't have enough energy to run. The pain was just constant now and I had learned to ignore it. I was lying on my stomach and as he came outside I saw the gun in his hand in my peripheral vision. My last tear rolled down my cheek as he grabbed my hair and pulled me to my knees. As he put the gun to my head I had to ask one question.
"Why me?" I said softly.
He laughed.
"I guess you were just lucky," he said, as he put the bullet in my head.

HOLIDAYS.
These holidays were a good break for me. Term three was extremely long and it seemed to go on forever. I was looking forward to them but I don't think they were long enough!
The first couple of days I didn't do much except just stayed at home and played games with my sister, which was fun. On Tuesday I was trying to organize to do something with my friend from primary school, Caitlin, and we were trying to organize for me to go to Torrumbary with them for five days, but they didn't have enough room in their car
Instead of going to that, we went shopping and to timezone on Wednesday with a few of her friends because it was her birthday. We did lasertag in timezone and I totally won 2 games
The rest of the week was pretty boring but I ended up going to work with my dad on Friday. I helped him make up some catalogues and then he had to go to Warragul to make a delivery, so I went with him. On the way there, we stopped to get some lunch and it was very nice. I always get McFlurry's with my dad, so on the way home, we stopped to get one.
On Saturday, I went with my family to a Grand Final party, because my mum barracks for Hawthorn and she wanted to go somewhere. We went to our family friend's, Roy and Col's, and we also went with my Aunty and Uncle. There was a betting table and mum let us have 3 dollars to bet on each section, who kicked the first goal, who won the norm smith, and who won by how many points. I tipped Luke Hodge for the first goal, because I think he is quite attractive, but didn't realize that he was a back.
Sunday I just relaxed and played on my Nintendo DS with my sister. We always play Mario Kart and I won
On Monday Kelsey came over for a sleepover. We caught the bus and train in to Tecoma to rent some DVD's. We chose the ones we wanted and then tried to pay for them, but I forgot to bring the card, so the people who were working there got really annoyed. We then went home and had dinner. After that we watched movies all night until around 1am and then slept in till midday the next day. She went home later that day.
Later that week, on Thursday, I went to Maddie's house. Whilst I was there, her mum drove us to the wave pool near fountain gate. We spent a couple of hours there and it was really fun. Then we came back to her house and just walked around her massive block of land.
The rest of the holidays I didn't do much except the last Sunday, I had netball tryouts for Melbourne Waverly. I made the first cut, so that was good.
I love holidays but they go way too quickly.
I will write soon. Comment please ? :)

Story beginnings.
Fantasy:
It came towards me faster than the speed of light. I had no chance. Galia had got me, it was the end. His two story high head looked over me as he stopped and I could see my reflection in his glossy eyes. His warm breath moved the hairs on the back of my neck as his wing brushed my leg. Dream or reality?
Horror:
"click"
My front door just closed. I heard it, didn't I? Maybe mum's home. I look up at my digital clock, the number's read 4:26. That's two hours before mum is supposed to be home. It can't be her. I hear slow footsteps on the stairs, coming closer. Maybe I'm just hearing things, scaring myself. They get louder. No, I'm not hearing things. I can see a shadow.
Romance:
I'm pretty sure he thinks last night was just a thing for fun, a little fling. I thought it was more than that, I really like him. His smile made my heart beat faster but then when I looked in to his eyes it slowed right down. I'm not sure you what you would call it, not love, not yet, but something close.
Spy:
Everything that I do is supposedly for the good of the nation, to keep our country safe. I'm starting to doubt that that is true but if my mind is constantly wondering, then I'm sure to make mistakes, so I have to tune that out.
No-one can know who I am. My identity must always be kept a secret, for my life depends on it. What kind of a life is that?
Teen Diary:
You probably know what it's like to be a teenager, I mean everyone's been there.
"I was your age once too love," My mum always says to me.
I know she has, but I just think that it was different when she was a teenager. That she wouldn't understand the drama's I go through every single day.
Like my hair, homework, boys, friends... the list goes on forever. These things may not seem like "dramas" to you, but believe
me, to a fourteen year old girl, they are.

tv stationnn.
I think that creating our own channel of TV (oatmeal, which I thought of
) is a really good idea
and extremely beneficial. I have really enjoyed doing the tv station. When I came up with Oatmeal,
It was a joke but I never thought that people would actually want it. It
has been lots of fun and I am learning heaps. I have started to work with new
programs on Ms Tapp's laptop such as the auto cue, and it's something I would
never usually do. Doing things like the tv station I love doing, because I would
never in a million years have thought of trying something like this. I have
gotten to work on camera, and write a script which has no boundaries which is
great. Molly and myself have gotten to do the weather segment and it has been
heaps of fun. Ms Tapp said that we didn't have to do the "regular" weather,
so we made it something that we would write if we had the choice. Amazingly,
people actually thought it was funny, which Molly and I never thought would
happen :)
Once we have done the first episode, we get to try other segments and jobs
which I really like. Next time I'm not sure what I would like to do, maybe just
try a bit of everything, which I think would be good.
I'll write soon xxx
